毕玉平,男,1961年6月生,农学博士,山东省青州市人。1993年3月中国农业大学植物遗传育种专业博士毕业,1999年8月至2002年4月赴美国加州大学洛杉矶分校Goldberg实验室从事博士后研究。2002年4月任山东省农科院作物研究所所长、研究员,2003年8月至今任山东省农业科学院高新技术研究中心主任、研究员。山东大学博士、硕士生导师,山东师范大学博士、硕士生导师。农业部黄淮海作物遗传改良生物技术重点实验室常务副主任,山东省作物与畜禽品种改良生物技术重点实验室常务副主任,中国农业生物技术学会作物分会理事,中国生物化学和分子生物学会农业分会理事,山东遗传学会副理事长等。兼任山东省政协常委、济南市人大常委。
主要从事植物分子生物学、植物基因工程及植物遗传育种研究工作,主持国家科技部“863”重大专项子课题、国家自然科学基金、农业部“948”项目、农业部公益性行业科研专项子课题、山东省科技厅科技攻关项目、山东省自然基金重点项目、山东省农业良种工程项目、省引智项目等20多项课题。在国内外核心学术刊物上发表论文50余篇,编撰著作2部。主持的“薯类病毒血清学高效检测技术研究与应用” 和“利用生物技术创造花生抗逆新种质的研究” 项目分别获2006度山东省科技进步三等奖(第1位)和2008年度山东省科技进步二等奖(第1位);获2009年度山东省留学回国创业奖。
